Katharine E. Hennebery

Katharine is an Associate in our Personal Injury and Family Law Groups. She has experience conducting all aspects of a personal injury and family law files, including examinations for discovery, mediation and settlement negotiations, drafting separation, marriage, and cohabitation agreements, preparing for and attending complex chamber applications, and preparing for and attending trials. Katharine has appeared at both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia for both family and personal injury matters.

Before joining Watson Goepel, Katharine worked at a boutique corporate commercial litigation firm, where she gained experience working on interesting commercial disputes, as well as working on family law files, with a focus on complex asset and property division. Prior to that, she worked for three years in personal injury law, with a primary focus on plaintiff motor vehicle accident cases, and articled and worked at a family law firm in New Westminster.

She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba in 2014 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015.

In her spare time, Katharine enjoys running, taking her dog Monty for long walks, and spending time with her family on Mayne Island, where she was born and raised.
