Lawyer – Corporate/Commercial Solicitor
We are expanding our Corporate/Commercial group and have an immediate opening for an experienced, full-time associate with 2-5 years of general solicitor experience to join our professional and friendly team.
You will work alongside our senior lawyers and have a well-developed understanding of commercial transactions, corporate reorganizations, commercial leasing, real estate matters and banking and finance.
You maintain a client-focused mindset, have superior analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy, and are able to solve complex problems using your knowledge of the law. You are likeable, hardworking, have an entrepreneurial mindset and are willing to work as part of a team. You are a member in good standing with the Law Society of BC.

Lawyer - Family Law 5-7+ Years of Experience

We are seeking a mid to senior family lawyer to round-out our team of five family law lawyers. The ideal candidate has a positive and upbeat attitude and a passion for working with families in relationship transition. The Family Law Group is led by Partner, Laurence Klass, who takes a pragmatic approach to find client-focused solutions that are tailored to each client’s unique needs. With an emphasis on teamwork, we hold weekly practice group meetings to ensure our lawyers remain connected and supported by their team as they develop their individual practices.

Requirements
- 5-7+ years experience in family law with a focus on litigation

Administrative Assistant, HR & Operations

We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant, HR & Operations to join our Vancouver office working with the Human Resources Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
The ideal candidate:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative assistance to the HR Manager and COO
- Assisting with employee life cycles, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, tracking status changes, offboarding, etc.
- Maintaining employee files both paper and electronic including filing
- Maintaining and updating HRIS system
- Managing and tracking vacation requests and coverage requests
- Assisting with planning and executing firm events, retreats, training, and in-firm education opportunities
- Reception relief
- General administrative duties as required
Ideal Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Office Administration, Administrative Assistant or Human Resources program
- Previous experience providing administrative support in an office environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Committed to provided excellent service and exceeding expectations
- Solid proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
