Profile
Thomas is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. He assists clients with bringing and responding to lawsuits, participating in mediations and settlement negotiations, and attending hearings in court and before administrative tribunals. He has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Thomas attended the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law where he completed his degree with a focus on Business Law. As a law student, he volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, providing free legal advice and assistance to clients on a range of issues, including residential tenancy and employment matters.
Thomas also spent time volunteering with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association’s Rights Watch project, and for Legal Education Outreach, where he helped teach Vancouver-area high school students about the law and legal profession.
In his free time, he stays active by hiking and cycling in the mountains or around the city, and by playing hockey in the winter. He also enjoys making music and has played bass and guitar for several bands.
