Tiara is currently working toward completing her articling requirements after earning her Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law. Throughout law school, she demonstrated a commitment to advocacy and community engagement by providing crucial legal assistance to underserved populations in various areas of law during her term as a clinic head at the Vancouver Provincial Court for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. In her final year, Tiara furthered her experience at the Provincial Courts through UBC’s Judicial Externship Program, where she conducted legal research for judges.
Prior to attending law school, Tiara pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
In addition to her volunteer work, Tiara gained exposure to corporate law while working alongside in-house counsel for a large chain restaurant spanning Canada and the United States. She also worked in a boutique family law firm, where she explored her interest in family law and remains eager to broaden her legal experience to make a meaningful impact on clients.
Outside of her professional life, Tiara enjoys exploring British Columbia’s beautiful landscape and spending time at the rink with her son during minor hockey season.
