On June 14, 2022, our Partner and leader of our Family Law Group, Laurence Klass, chaired the Family Law 2022 Program hosted by Pacific Business & Law Institute (PBLI). Laurence led the Watson Goepel team, as well as industry experts from Schuman Basran Robin & Bell and North Shore Law, to discuss family matters that intersect with other practice areas.
In the program, Laurence shared case studies associated with disputes and beneficial ownership of property involved in a separation. Danica Beck, Associate in our Family Law Group, discussed the alternative claims for damages in family law. Our Wills, Trusts and Estates lawyer, Joe Fingerote, Associate in our Business Law Group, explained the relationships between wills and estates and family law. The program also covers COVID updates, cases of note, and the unusual trends in family law.
