Melissa is an associate in the Personal Injury group. She has experience at all levels of the British Columbia courts and has conducted numerous trials, mediations, and contested applications.
Melissa obtained her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2009 and articled with a full‑service firm in downtown Vancouver, where she practiced construction law, specializing in claims against professionals for errors and omissions. In 2017, she moved to a boutique personal injury firm to focus on representing injured individuals. After a brief stint with WorkSafeBC, she returned to the personal injury field in 2022, working for a senior personal injury lawyer before joining Watson Goepel in January 2026.
When not practicing law, Melissa is an avid skier, rower, and golfer, as well as a dedicated cat mom. In her spare time, she volunteers at PGA Tour events and with the Vancouver Rowing Club, combining a love of sport with a strong commitment to community.
