Hayley Cumiskey is an Articled Student at Watson Goepel. She is committed to providing thoughtful, client-focused legal services and is developing experience across a broad range of practice areas.
Hayley obtained her Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. She received various awards, including the Griffith Law School Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence, which recognized the five highest achieving J.D. students in 2023. During law school, Hayley gained valuable experience through Griffith University’s Innocence Project, where she assisted in drafting a Pardon Application to the Governor of Queensland.
Before law school, Hayley received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. Prior to entering the legal profession, Hayley worked in hospitality and coached softball, developing a strong foundation in teamwork, leadership, and client relations.
Outside of the office, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family, watching baseball, attending Pilates, and going horseback riding.
