Presented in partnership with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Centre for Hellenic Studies at Simon Fraser University, this year’s festival explores politics, family, identity, and human connection through an exceptional lineup of films.
The festival will open with Electra, directed by Michael Cacoyannis, honouring the legacies of Mikis Theodorakis and Irene Papas. Highlights will also include restored works from the Greek Film Archive and bold contemporary cinema such as Harvest by Athina Rachel Tsangari.
