Each province and the federal government have their legislation regarding a business’s requirement to properly collect, store, and use personal information of their employees. These statutes also address the rights of the public or employees to make information requests about information a business is storing. We assist businesses with determining what information must be disclosed in a Freedom of Information (FOI), what information must be disclosed to employees seeking the information, and assist with bringing and defending complaints brought before these tribunals.
