Guiding businesses through administrative decisions and challenges.
Working with corporations, partnerships, and various business entities, we engage with administrative decision-makers such as tribunals, licensing bodies, and regulators. In the Workplace Law context, these entities must meet minimum standards set by administrative law bodies or regulators such as the Employment Standards Branch, Human Rights Tribunal, WorkSafe BC, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner and their federal counterparts. Other industry regulators include regulators of professionals such as engineers, accountants, and doctors.
We assist clients at all phases of the administrative law process, including assisting with applications for or the reinstatement of licenses and submissions, responding to complaints and supporting the making of complaints. We also represent our clients at hearings held by administrative decision-makers. If an administrative decision is made against a client’s interests, we help challenge those decisions through the courts on judicial review.
