Camelia is an associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. She enjoys working in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation disputes and has appeared in both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Before joining Watson Goepel, Camelia worked at a boutique litigation firm, where she gained experience working on complex matters, with a focus on professional negligence, contract disputes, insurance defence, and power of attorney misuse.
Camelia grew up in North Vancouver and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2022. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2023. During law school, Camelia worked at a boutique Aboriginal law firm as a litigation assistant. She also acted as a legal advocate at a non-profit, focused on increasing access to justice for low-income individuals and newcomers to Canada.
In her spare time, Camelia enjoys attending yoga classes, trying new restaurants, attending niche events, and hosting charcuterie nights.
