Profile
“It is personally rewarding to help my clients navigate our complex system and ensure that their injuries are well understood, properly treated, and fairly compensated.”
Scott is a Partner in our Personal Injury Group. Before settling into a personal injury practice in the mid-1990s, Scott’s practice included solicitor’s work, child protection, and general litigation. While Scott no longer acts as defence counsel for ICBC, his many years of experience acting on the “other side of the fence” has brought a wealth of understanding and knowledge that continues to serve his injured clients well.
With a focus on achieving fair settlements for his clients through consensus or mediation, Scott recognizes that there are occasions when such a result can only be resolved in court. As such, Scott has appeared as counsel in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
When not in the office Scott enjoys cooking, traveling, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
