Alyshia is an Associate in the Business Law Group at Watson Goepel LLP. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate law.
Since her call to the bar, Alyshia has acted on numerous real property transactions totaling over $860 million, including acquisitions/financings, dispositions and refinancings of apartment buildings, office buildings, shopping centres, light industrial buildings and hotels. As part of her practice, Alyshia has acted in the negotiation of numerous complex commercial leases on behalf of both tenants and landlords.
Having attended law schools in both Canada and the United States, Alyshia clerked at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, where she assisted with several high-profile constitutional law cases.
A former competitive dance, Alyshia stays active by spending her free time at the barre or hiking her favourite trails. She can also be found in the kitchen baking her almost-famous fudge squares that have a small but mighty fan base across Canada.
