Organization & Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Clerk to join our Accounting team in our Downtown office. Duties & Responsibilities of Position
- Follow up, process, and allocate payments, including credit cards, EFTs, wire transfers, and e-transfers
- Review A/R statements and reports
- Process and reconcile bank reconciliations and deposits as assigned
- Process and reconcile credit card statements
- Prepare and organize cheque runs
- Upload disbursements from files to accounting systems
- Reconciling corporate accounts, trust and general bank statements, and petty cash
- Assist in collections
- Provide assistance within the department as required

Required and Ideal Qualifications
- Completion of accounting program or courses
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
- Proven ability to muti-task/solve complex problems
- Proven ability to handle high-volume workloads and prioritizing deadlines
- Knowledge of HST/GST/PST requirements
- Knowledge of trust accounts and Law Society trust rules is an asset
- Experience with Elite is an asset
- Experience in Accounts Receivable is an asset
- Experience in Collections is an asset
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time – 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
